A structured, thoughtful class designed to improve posture and movement efficiency and enhance body awareness.
Suitable for all fitness levels.
Sling and Sway @ Alchemy Space
Thursdays 10.45am - 11.35am​
Sling and Sway is a fun, inclusive and uplifting dance class designed for and your baby. This gentle yet energetic session gets your body moving while keeping your baby close, letting you enjoy dancing for yourself in a supportive, social atmosphere. Move to a feel-good mix of pop, funk, dance, disco and soul classics - no pressure, no perfection needed. You’re free to do whatever you need with your baby throughout the class; soothe, feed, bounce, or take a break. Take what you want from the session and leave what you don’t - it’s your time. Come in ready for a laugh and a boogie, walk out feeling energised, motivated and confident. No dance experience necessary. All baby carriers welcome.

Body Control Pilates Level 3
I originally trained as a dancer and still teach and run my own professional dance company. After having a baby, Pilates became a much bigger part of my life — not just to prevent injury, but to give myself some time and to support my body through both physically demanding work and the everyday realities of life.

I trained with Body Control Pilates, whose belief that Pilates is for every body is something I truly believe in. In my classes we focus on control, alignment, and, most importantly, moving with ease.
​
Many of us — especially dancers and women — are used to pushing through physical discomfort. My goal is to offer something different. I want you to leave class feeling comfortable, supported, and confident in your body, knowing you’ve moved with care, intention, and without pain.
